Howard Howell

Howard Howell is a retired Florida law-enforcement executive, licensed professional investigator, and security consultant with more than 23 years of experience in criminal investigations, public safety administration, and security management.
At Florida Atlantic University he rose to Police Captain, overseeing operations for the Northern Campuses — including the John D. MacArthur Campus in Jupiter and Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute — and served as Acting Chief of Police when assigned, District Threat Management Coordinator, and Special Events Commander.
His background includes service with the Palm Beach County School District Police, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, and private investigative work supporting criminal defense, civil litigation, insurance fraud and missing-person matters.
He holds an M.S. in Emergency Management Planning & Administration and a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Lynn University, and is a graduate of the FDLE Senior Leadership Program and the Southern Police Institute Command Officer's Development Course.
